Floating Fountains & Pond Aerators

Healthy water moves. We supply floating fountains, surface aerators, and lake-bed aeration systems sized for projects of every scale. Whether you're managing a small backyard pond or a large community lake, proper aeration and circulation are essential to water quality, aquatic life, and the overall appearance of your water feature — backed by more than 120 years of water equipment experience in Middle Tennessee.

What Happens When Water Sits Still

Stagnant water creates problems fast. Without adequate oxygen exchange and circulation, ponds and lakes become breeding grounds for algae blooms, foul odors, mosquitos, and conditions harmful to fish and other aquatic life.

Thermal stratification — where warm surface water and cold bottom water stop mixing — depletes oxygen in deeper zones and accelerates sediment buildup. Floating fountains and aeration systems address these problems directly.

Floating Fountain and Aeration Products

Floating Fountains

Floating fountain units sit on the water surface and draw water upward through a pump, dispersing it in decorative spray patterns. They add visual appeal to ponds and decorative water features while providing real surface aeration. Available in a range of spray pattern configurations and motor sizes.

Surface Aerators

Surface aerators are designed primarily for water quality management rather than display. They agitate the water surface aggressively to maximize oxygen transfer, making them well-suited for retention ponds, stormwater management basins, and aquaculture applications.

Lake-Bed Aeration Systems

For deeper bodies of water, lake-bed or subsurface aeration systems deliver compressed air through diffusers placed on the bottom of the pond or lake. This creates circulation from the bottom up, de-stratifying the water column and oxygenating the deepest zones.

Who These Systems Are Built For

Residential homeowners with backyard ponds, koi ponds, or ornamental water features
HOA communities and property managers overseeing retention ponds, neighborhood lakes, or common-area water features
Golf courses and parks where decorative water features are part of the landscape design
Agricultural operations managing livestock ponds or aquaculture systems where dissolved oxygen levels directly affect productivity
Municipal and commercial clients responsible for stormwater ponds, wastewater stabilization ponds, or large-scale lake management

Aeration and fountain equipment often works alongside other pump and water management systems. Our catalog includes irrigation pumps and pump systems, water storage pump systems, and water pressure booster pumps for related needs.
